Registration Guidelines for the MBSE 2024 Participants
Confirmed registration is required to participate in the Workshop on Model-Based Space Systems and Software Engineering (MBSE2024). The workshop will be held in Bremen, Germany, on May 28 to 29, 2024.
BESL Eventagentur GmbH & Co. KG is our external partner for the participant registration and is also responsible for the invoicing and collection of participation fees. Please check the full information, fees and deadlines on this website.
We kindly ask you to provide the requested information in the required fields during the registration process. Upon the completion of the registration process, an electronic confirmation of the registration will be generated by the system and automatically sent to the e-mail address provided by the user. Please check your spam folder.

Registration is possible only via the registration facility on this website.
Registration opens on 11 March 2024.
Registration will finally close for all regular participants and students on 20 May 2024.
After 20 May 2024, registration is no longer possible. If there is a special case of exception, please send your e-mail request to the organization office VMSSupport@dlr.de

Terms and Conditions for MBSE Participants
By registering for the Workshop on Model-Based Space Systems and Software Engineering (MBSE2024) you agree to the participation terms and conditions. If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the person participating is aware of these terms and accepts them. By completing the registration on behalf of other individuals you are warranting that you have made the participants aware of these terms and that they have accepted these terms.

Registration Fees for the MBSE Participants
All participants and delegates must register for the Workshop in full as per the categories and rates outlined below. Participants and delegates can register for the MBSE 2024 Workshop only via the registration facility on this website.
Please note:
For all scientific conferences with a social programme, the German Aerospace Center is obliged to split the conference fees into a VAT-exempt and a VAT-liable part in the conference fee invoice, as both VAT-exempt and VAT-liable services are provided in return for the conference fees.
Therefore, the breakdown of the amount is for tax purposes only. Each participant of the MBSE Workshop can only book the complete programme of the MBSE Workshop including the social programme.
As organiser and host of MBSE 2024, we are required by the German tax regulations to include this information on the MBSE Workshop invoices. Each participant of this workshop will only pay the total amount shown on the invoice.

Participation fee for all delegates and students for the onsite event includes:
- Admission to the whole scientific programme of the MBSE 2024 Workshop, Poster Session and Exhibition (28-29 May 2024)
- Coffee breaks and lunch (28-29 May 2024)
- Participation in the social programme that comprises:
- Welcome Reception on 27.05.2024
- Excursions to the Bremen Ratskeller with the following Workshop Dinner on 28.05.2024
- Technical Tour to the DLR site and to OHB on 30.05 2024
- Access to the web-based app
Please note that in all cases hotel accommodations are NOT included in the registration fee!
The DLR organizers have arrange rooms contingents at the DORINT City Hotel Bremen.
Rooms can be booked directly by contacting the hotel of your choice and indicating booking code "MBSE 2024”. More information here.
Web-based APP at the MBSE Workshop
A web-based app, with restricting app access to the registered workshop attendees only (based on their e-mail addresses), provides all organizational information, e.g. workshop programme and social programme, feedback form and all other essential updates as well as an opportunity for a perfect networking.

Payments
The following means of payment are available for participants:
- Bank Transfer
- Payment by credit card (MasterCard and Visa Card)
- Pay Pal
Upon completion of the registration process, an electronic confirmation of the registration will be generated by the system and automatically sent to the e-mail address provided by the user. Please do not send any payments by bank transfer without quoting the invoice number and the participant’s name included in the payment details. Payments without the required reference information cannot be processed.
Your participation can be confirmed only when the registration fees have been paid in full. Those participants whose participation fees have not been settled by the first day of the event will not be granted the entry. Please e-mail any amendments or cancellations regarding your participation to VMSSupport@dlr.de
Cancellation & Refund Policy for the MBSE Participants
Cancellation requests should be submitted in writing by e-mail to VMSSupport@dlr.de
Please refer to the following important deadlines for cancellation for the onsite participation:
- Until May 15, 2024: 100% refund minus 50 Euro of the administration fee;
- After May 15, 2024 there will be no refund.
Please note refunds will be made after the Workshop on Model-Based Space Systems and Software Engineering (MBSE2024).
